Head coach Stephen Fleming says it’s difficult for complacency not to creep in when a side are on a good run.
Head coach at Chennai Super Kings, Stephen Fleming, believes that complacency was the reason the side lost to Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
Going into the match CSK had been on a superb run of form with seven successive victories, but Mumbai brought them back down to earth with a 60-run thrashing.
Fleming thinks that it is the most desperate the franchise have been in 2013 and that however hard the coaching staff try to stop it, becoming complacent when playing well is hard to avoid.
