Wild win in overtime to reduce series deficit to 2-1 against Chicago.
The Minnesota Wild produced an inspired performance in front of their own fans as they were able to regain a foothold in their NHL Playoff series against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Jason Zucker scored in overtime to seal a superb win for the Wild, as Chicago were left wondering how they didn’t move to 3-0 in the series.
Afterwards, Zucker told ESPN.com that there was a little bit of fortune in his shot.
“I don’t know if I even saw the net. I probably didn’t even look at the net,” Zucker said.
“I just tried shooting it, and it happened to go in for me.”
Game Four is on Tuesday, as the Wild look to regain parity in the series and cause yet another upset of the Blackhawks side.
