Blackhawks win three in a row after conquering Colorado.
While there are arguably more important matters to settle for the Chicago Blackhawks, they would perhaps have enjoyed a sense of revenge on Monday night after sealing a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Having seen their record breaking 24-game streak of earning at least a point come to an end at the hands of the Avalanche back on March 8, the Blackhawks would have been pleased to leave the Pepsi Center with a comfortable win.
Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews had a goal each and two assists, as Chicago secure their third win in of a four-game road trip which ends with a difficult trip to Anaheim on Wednesday.
However, they appear to be back on track after recent slip-ups, and will be confident going into the game against the Ducks as they lead the way in the Western Conference.
