Chicago Blackhawks seal 5-3 NHL win over Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.
The Chicago Blackhawks are showing no signs of allowing their record run to come to an end any time soon, as they extended their streak to 23 with a 5-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.
Having also won a franchise record 10th straight game on Tuesday night, they continue to enjoy what has been a remarkable season so far as the records continue to tumble.
The Hawks have now pushed their streak of games with at least a point to 23, which is the longest from the start of a season in NHL history.
However, it didn’t pass without a few nerves as despite leading 4-1 going into the third period, Minnesota were able to cut the lead to just one, leaving the United Center a little edgy.
Patrick Kane came to the rescue though, scoring his 12th goal of the season on a night which marked veteran Marian Hossa’s 1,000th NHL game.
The Blackhawks will be looking to further extend their record run when they take on the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, but check out highlights from their latest win in the video below:
