Bulls seal back-to-back wins despite absence of Joakim Noah
The Chicago Bulls held on to seal a 104-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, with Nate Robinson leading the way.
Despite the absence of Joakim Noah for a second consecutive game, the Bulls were able to dominate the glass and come away with the win.
Nate Robinson had a team-high 22 points and 10 assists while Jimmy Butler took advantage of a place in the starting line-up to finish with 20 points and nine rebounds.
The win moves their record on to 38-31 for the season, as they look to close the gap on those just ahead in the Eastern Conference play-off spots.
For the Timberwolves, Derrick Williams tied a career-high 28 points, and was well supported by Ricky Rubio who had 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
However, it wasn’t enough and Minnesota will hope to do better on Tuesday when they travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons.
