Bulls get back to winning ways on Friday to relieve some pressure.
The Chicago Bulls sealed a 113-95 win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, as they responded to coach Tom Thibodeau’s angry reaction to their defeat to the Sacramento Kings earlier this week.
The Bulls have endured a tough period recently, as they saw their record diminish and they began to slip down the Eastern Conference standings.
Thibodeau called for more from his players and himself after the defeat to the Kings, and it appears as though his players have responded.
Luol Deng had a game-high 23 points to lead the way, but was supported well by Carlos Boozer (21), Joakim Noah (16), Marco Belinelli (13) and Nate Robinson (20).
As for the Warriors, it was a quiet night for point guard Stephen Curry as he could only post up 8 points, while Jarrett Jack top scored with 20 points.
Chicago will now hope that they can use this as a confidence booster and string together a few wins to move back up the East with the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks not far ahead.
