After shaky start, Peavy carries Sox to victory with 11 strikeouts.
The Chicago White Sox were able to ride a dominant performance from pitcher Jake Peavy, as the team were able to get the road win at Cleveland and move to 5-7 on the season.
It didn’t start too well for the pitcher, giving up a home run to Indians batter Michael Bourn on the first pitch of the game.
From there however, Peavy settle into a rhythm and eventually finished with 11 strikeouts, which was the catalyst for the White Sox.
This was the teams first win away from home this season, and they must now push on from this after very poor start to the season.
