The RCB batsman says he was up all night before his world record performance.
Sleep deprivation clearly isn’t always a bad thing as Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Chris Gayle says he didn’t catch a wink before his record 175 not-out against Pune Warriors in the IPL.
Gayle admitted he didn’t sleep at all the night before he not only scored the biggest ever Twenty20 total, but also the fastest 20-over half-ton and century and most sixes in the shortest format of the game.
The West Indian was also delighted to see his football team Manchester United win the Premier League and hopes RCB can emulate the English champions.
The franchise play their next match against Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
