Cavs expected to complete trade deal for Love at the end of the month…
Although Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers isn’t yet official, this video looks at how he will settle into the team’s offense with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
With new coach David Blatt overseeing the Cavs next season, Coach Nick of BBallBreakdown looks through some plays from the Summer League as well as Blatt’s previous work to give fans an idea of how they will likely operate.
Given the elite level of talent at his disposal, Blatt could have one of, if not the most, devastating offensive units at his disposal next year with the players on the roster capable of limitless options including spacing the floor for the likes of Love, Mike Miller and Irving to do significant damage from beyond the arc.
While there are initial concerns over how it will all work defensively, there is no denying how threatening the Cavs look on the other end of the court, and based on this video, it could be exciting to watch as long as you’re not playing against them.
Love is expected to make his move from the Minnesota Timberwolves later this month, with Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick moving in the opposite direction.
Both Love and James have insisted that they will not test free agency next summer, and as a result they will likely have ample opportunity of creating a lasting legacy in Cleveland as they look like the team to beat as of next year.
