This has to be one of the most embarrassing blunders by an announcer – ever.
Cleveland Cavs play-by-play caller Fred McLeod better do some homework over the off-season as to the correct pronunciation of their latest star.
It’s “Andrew” not “Mitchell”.
McLeod made a horribly blunder when the Cavs were planning to unveil their latest number one draft pick Andrew Wiggins.
In a case of a horrible brain fade, one of the most talked about athletes in America for at least the past year was given a new given name to go with his new team.
Hopefully, it’s not a sign of things to come for Wiggins’ time in Cleveland.
