Cleverly vs Bellew 2 press conference: (Video) Rivals in heated head-to-head.
Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew face off in Liverpool on Saturday night and there was plenty of tension between the pair in this special Gloves Are Off feature.
The pair will hope to put an end to their feud at the Echo Arena this weekend, with Cleverly looking to secure a repeat of his win the first time they met in 2011.
However, both fighters have made the move up to the cruiserweight division since, and they are both confident that they will be able to claim a stoppage win.
Cleverly concedes that his rival possesses more power, but he is adamant that his speed will be the defining factor in the fight as he labels Bellew a “bully boy”.
Bellew’s temperament has also been put under the spotlight in the build-up to this fight, and although he refuses to shake hands with his opponent at the end of the interview, it is clear looking through his career that the aggression and anger he has towards his rivals will only make him sharper on the night.
Both men have suffered shattering stoppage defeats in recent years to Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson, and many believe we will see another knockout on Saturday night.
