Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew went head-to-head in Liverpool on Friday afternoon at the weigh-in ahead of their cruiserweight showdown on Saturday night.
With the talking almost over, both fighters came in under the limit and looked in fighting mood as they engaged in another war of words during the face off.
Bellew was calm and in a joking mood with reporters after as he insisted that he is fully confident in his ability to claim a win on Saturday night, with Cleverly unsurprisingly fancying his own chances.
The Welshman received a hostile welcome from a packed crowd at the St. George’s Hall in Liverpool, but it won’t be anything new to him given that he has already defeated his rival in his hometown before.
However, with both fighters making the step up to cruiserweight, they expect this fight to be much more explosive with Bellew insistent that that his opponent will not be able to cope with his power.
Should Cleverly be able to absorb it as he claims he can, then fans are in for a real treat at the Echo Arena as well as those watching on Sky Box Office, as these two prepare to finally settle their feud.
