Delhi Daredevils captain Jayawardene says KKR all-rounder Sunil Narine was tough to handle in their opening IPL match.
Delhi Daredevils skipper Mahela Jayawardene believes that Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Sunil Narine is a difficult bowler to handle.
West Indian Narine took figures of 4-13 as Kolkata beat the Daredevils by six wickets in the first match of the 2013 IPL.
It started badly for Delhi when they lost opener Unmukt Chand from the very first ball of the tournament off the bowling of Brett Lee.
Jayawardene pinpointed his side’s defeat on losing too many wickets in the middle-order as Narine ripped through the visitors’ batsmen.
