Former Chicago Bulls star was asked to respond to comments he made regarding the leadership of the country.
As soon as it was announced that Rodman was going to North Korea, we all knew that something would controversial would happen…
What we didn’t expect was the comments he made about the current leader, Kim Jong-Un and his predecessors.
As you will hear in the video below, Rodman said the he ‘loved KJU like a brother’ and that his father and grandfather were ‘great leaders’.
Although he made an attempt to change the meaning of what he said, it is clear that Rodman probably regrets the comments he made, as he struggles to justify the remarks.
It is also interesting to note that Rodman said President Barack Obama only has to call the North Korean leader for chat, because Jong-Un is keen to hear from the US supremo in order to begin strengthening relations between the two countries.
