Stephen Curry leads the Warriors, on the brink of NBA Playoffs second round.
After a quiet first half, Stephen Curry exploded in the third quarter at the Oracle Arena on Sunday night, scoring 22 of his playoff career-high 31 points during that period to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 115-101 win over the Denver Nuggets.
With three consecutive wins, the sixth-seeded Warriors now lead the third-seeded Nuggets 3-1 ahead of Game 5, and are just one win away from what would be just a second playoff series triumph since 1991.
Although Curry was the star of the show again, elsewhere Andrew Bogut had a playoff career-high 12 points and contributed five rebounds and two blocks.
Jarrett Jack added 21 points and nine assists as Golden State shot 55.7 percent from the field, and they head back to Denver on Tuesday hoping for more of the same.
As for the Nuggets, Ty Lawson had 26 points while Andre Iguodala had 19 points, but it wasn’t enough to hold off Curry and the Warriors who will be hoping to wrap up the series at the first time of asking.
