Exhibition game overshadowed by injury to George but Rose looks in good form…
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has made no secret of the fact that he is full of confidence after recovering from injury, and he is now demonstrating it on the court.
The 25-year-old has insisted that he can’t wait to prove his doubters wrong, and playing in Team USA’s Blue-White team in an exhibition game leading up to the FIBA World Cup, he looks a lot like his former self.
Although there is still the fear that the explosive point guard could suffer a relapse at any given time such is the style of his game, he believes that he has finally overcome his problems and is ready to put together a season-long effort to help the Bulls reach their ultimate goal.
Sadly, the game will be remembered for Paul George after the Indiana Pacers star suffered a broken leg in a freak collision with the backboard stanchion, and it is hoped that one of the leading talents in the NBA makes a full and speedy recovery.
