Nets seal fourth seed in the East, set to face Chicago in play-offs.
The Brooklyn Nets ended the regular season on a positive note following their 103-99 win over the Detroit Pistons at the Barclays Center on Wednesday.
Brook Lopez scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds as he geared up for the post season, while the rest of the Nets starters turned in solid minutes before being rested.
Deron Williams had eight points and six assists in just over 20 minutes of action, while Joe Johnson reached double figures after going 2-for-5 from beyond the arc.
The Pistons end the season with a 29-53 mark, and will be disappointed with their overall performance this year. Will Bynum had a game-high 23 points, but it wasn’t enough to avoid yet another defeat.
The Nets start their play-off campaign on Saturday, as they eagerly await the arrival of visitors the Chicago Bulls.
