Duke is trailing Arizona State, 20-17, at halftime in the Sun Bowl. They have mounted a comeback attempt since trailing, 20-3.
After scoring a touchdown on offense, the Blue Devils special teams made their mark as wide receiver Jamison Crowder returned a punt 68 yards for a touchdown.
He broke a few tackles before finding a clear path about 35 yards away from the end zone. Crowder is the Blue Devils’ leading receiver, and he was able to demonstrate his speed in the return game as well.
The Sun Devils were favored by nine points entering this game, but the Blue Devils are proving to be a force.
