The Three Lions eventually triumph in this exciting affair.
England came from behind twice to beat Scotland 3-2 in this 150th anniversary match with goals from Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck, as well as a debut effort from Rickie Lambert.
James Morrison put the Scots ahead early on before Walcott cancelled it out and then Kenny Miller restored the lead for the visitors.
However, the headlines will go to Southampton’s Lambert who came off the bench to head in the winner to mark the 31-year-old’s first ever cap for the Three Lions, after Welbeck had brought things level.
