England batsman Trott hit 121 on day one of the second Test against New Zealand and wants to improve even further.
England had the better of the first day against NZ in Wellington with both Nick Compton and Jonathan Trott scoring highly impressive centuries.
The tourists finished the day on 267-2 but Trott believes that with the game not yet won, England need to stay focussed and not get carried away.
It was a tough day for the Kiwi bowlers as they were hit all over the park, despite their captain Brendon McCullum winning the toss and choosing to field.
