Ex-Middlesex opener predicts a closer than expected series though.
Former England captain Andrew Strauss says that he fully expects Alastair Cook’s side to beat Australia at home in this summer’s Ashes.
Strauss, who retired from all forms of the game last year and is now competing in Sunday’s London marathon, is confident that Cook’s men will live up to their billing as favorites to keep hold of the urn against Michael Clarke’s tourists.
Strauss was in charge of England when they won the Ashes Down Under in 2010/11.
