Charlotte Edwards admits that missing out on two World Cups was disappointing for a side used to success.
England Women’s skipper Charlotte Edwards has admitted that it was a disappointing winter of cricket for the side after they failed to win two World Cups.
The Three Lions are considered to be a leading force in the female version of the game and Edwards says that expectation made it harder for the team when they didn’t win.
However, the captain is relishing the prospect of redeeming themselves this summer when they face Pakistan and then Australia in the Ashes in August.
