England bowler Broad played his part with the bat as the tourists secured an unlikely draw against the Black Caps.
Stuart Broad has admitted that New Zealand outplayed England in the third and final Test of the series in Auckland.
However, Broad’s partnership with Matt Prior helped their side bat out the fifth day at Eden Park and eventually draw a thrilling series.
The England paceman faced 61 balls before making his first run but lost his wicket shortly after on seven.
Broad has said that despite liking to score runs he just wanted to stick it out with Prior in the middle in order for the visitors to save the match.
