The seamer is hoping to get back into the Three Lions setup after recovering from an elbow injury.
England and Yorkshire seam bowler Tim Bresnan is playing his first professional cricket match since January today as his club side take on Lancashire in a three-day friendly.
Bresnan has been out of action due to an elbow injury he sustained whilst playing on England’s successful tour of India, where the 28-year-old impressed with his performances.
The Yorkshire man was ruled out of the Three Lions’ visit to New Zealand in February and March and is now looking to make up for lost time by getting back into the national side as soon as possible.
