Since Liverpool lost badly to Stoke City, 6-1, they have fallen to sixth place and will finish there as Spurs have 64 points.
The game was quite uneventful as a whole, as the game was low scoring. However, Spurs star Harry Kane came through with a goal once again to cap off his fantastic season.
Kane scored the lone goal of the game 24 minutes in, and he has finished with 21 goals for Tottenham in the 2014-15 season, which ranks second in the Premier League behind Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
This season turned out to be a breakout year for Kane, who was nothing more than a journeyman heading into this year of Premier League action.
Kane also scored nine goals in separate matches, increasing his 2014-15 total to 30.
In the goal, Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was not forced to do much as he only made one save, but it counted for a lot as Tottenham held on for a shutout victory.
Everton midfielder Kevin Mirallas saw the most action and was the only player who was able to get a shot on goal while attempting four shots total during the game.
The match became somewhat physical later on as three yellow cards were handed out over a four-minute span starting at the 80-minute mark.
