Toffees remain in contention for a Champions League place next season.
Everton head coach David Moyes pronounced himself satisfied with his side’s performance in their 2-2 draw at fellow Champions League-chasing side Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Merseysiders were forced to recover from the shock of going a goal behind in the opening minute, thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor’s early strike, only to recover by scoring twice either side of the half time break through defender Phil Jagielka and Belgium international Kevin Mirallas.
However, the visitors could not hold on to their slender lead as Spurs drew level right at the death through substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson.
