High-flying Marseille had two men sent off, as their challenge at the top of Ligue 1 continued to falter with a 1-1 draw against struggling Evian. The visitors, who started the match in third place, looked on course for victory when Andre-Pierre Gignac put them ahead five minutes after the break.

But just eight minutes later Yannick Sagbo levelled from the spot after Kassim Abdallah had fouled Saber Khelifa, with the defender shown a straight red card after having been deemed to be the last man.
Marseille’s miserable afternoon continued 15 minutes from time when Jordan Ayew was sent off after being awarded his second yellow card and L’Om have now taken just two points from their last three games.
