British actress Gemma Atkinson, who once dated Real Madrid goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo during his Manchester United glory days, was a hot topic among soap fans last night.
Atkinson has been playing the role of Carly Hope in Emmerdale since January.
Carly was at the centre of controversy in Wednesday’s episode when she was arrested on suspicion of theft.
