Portuguese champions hold a slender 1-0 lead from the first leg.
FC Porto head coach Vitor Pereira wants his team to enjoy the fierce atmosphere that will await them in the La Rosaleda stadium when they take on high-flying La Liga outfit Malaga in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday night.
The Portuguese champions, who have won Europe’s premier club competition twice before in their illustrious history, take a 1-0 lead with them to southern Spain from the first leg at the Dragao stadium three weeks ago.
“Malaga have aspirations in this match but in Porto we know what we want,” said Pereira.
“We know what is to face someone who plays at home. We are a team that likes big environments. We are going to find a crowded stadium – a very encouraging environment – that’s something that motivates us as a team.”
