‘Greek Freak’ shows off his unique skill-set as Greece roll on with three wins from three…
Greece star Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t letting the expectations get to him as he continues to produce impressive plays such as this against Puerto Rico at the FIBA World Cup 2014.
The Milwaukee Bucks star was picked out as one of the stars to watch at the tournament, and with Greece undefeated through its first three games of the pool stage, Antetokounmpo has averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in just under 19 minutes per game.
However, this play in particular highlights the incredible athleticism and speed that he possesses, as after claiming the strip from Renaldo Balkman, he gathers possession before needing just one dribble to get from half court all the way to the rim.
In addition, he is able to convert and is also fouled for the and-1, as the Greeks continue to pull away in the final quarter of the game to claim the victory.
The 19-year-old is expected to develop into one of the top talents in the NBA in the coming years, and this summer has provided him with the opportunity to further evolve his game.
