A scuffle broke out between players and coaches from Louisville and Kentucky, showing the intensity of Rivalry Week.

No. 22 Louisville is playing Kentucky for Rivalry Week, and it is indeed a rivalry as demonstrated by the teams’ pre-game actions.
The Cardinals and Wildcats players and coaches engaged in a fight on the field before the game even started. Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino and Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops were shown exchanging words and scuffling.
Short tempers have run in the Stoops family as Mike Stoops, current Oklahoma defensive coordinator and former Arizona head coach, has often thrown tantrums on the sideline.
