During a play toward the end of the first half when the New England Patriots were attempting to score, quarterback Tom Brady was pushed to the ground by New York Jets linebacker Antwan Barnes right after he threw an incomplete pass.
This angered Patriots guard Jordan Devey, and he shoved Barnes in retaliation to stick up for his quarterback before drawing a personal foul penalty.
Despite the penalty, the Patriots were able to kick a field goal as time expired to take a 17-12 lead over the Jets.
Here is a video from Vine of Brady’s offensive lineman having his back.
