Fiorentina and Torino played a seven goal thriller at Stadio Artemio Franchi, with I Viola winning thanks to a late goal from Romulo.
AC Fiorentina and Torino played out one of the best matches of the Serie A season so far, with I Viola coming out on top.
The game had it all – spectacular and scrappy goals, a red card, and a late winner to cap it all.
Fiorentina actually began the match impressively, with Juan Cuadrado, Alberto Aquilani and Adem Ljajic each striking to give the hosts a commanding lead.
Complacency kicked in though, and Paulo Borretto struck just before the interval to give Torino hope.
That hope soon became belief, once Mario Santana and Alessio Cerci both scored wonderful goals, and after the equaliser it was Torino who appeared the more likely winners.
However, their brave comeback was cruelly voided when Brazilian star Romulo fired in at the death, breaking Torino hearts.
The visitors also had Matteo Darmian sent off for a second bookable offence in stoppage time.
