Murray made his second final in a US Open final one to remember. Having bested Tomas Byrdich in a four-hour epic semi-final, the Scot picked up his first major trophy in another epic four hour encounter that saw him notch up a 7-6(10), 7-5, 2-6, 3-6, 6-2 win.
