Kobe Bryant – Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers’ presence in the play-offs may be questionable, but Kobe Bryant’s desire to win is unshakable as the ‘Black Mamba’ continues to roll back the years.
Bryant has been a shining light in what has been a largely problematic year for the Lakers turning scorer to facilitator and then back to scorer, as they have struggled to integrate Dwight Howard.
Despite regular setbacks, they are still level with the Utah Jazz for eighth spot in the West and will need a huge effort in the final stretch.
Should they make it, Bryant will be integral to their hopes especially considering they are likely to face either the San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder in the opening round. Having recently admitted he may only have two seasons left in his legs, Bryant will not go out without a fight.
