Pacquiao arrived ahead of schedule in LA earlier this week, but he will not be joined by trainer Freddie Roach until next week as he is currently busy preparing another fighter.
Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped the Filipino from getting to work which included some jogging, shadow boxing and heavy-bag work on Monday, and he will look to tick over until Roach returns.
Meanwhile, Mayweather was busy in his own gym over in Las Vegas as he posted videos and images on social media, and both fighters already look in great condition ahead of their showdown.
The bout is expected to shatter numerous records in terms of gate revenue and pay-per-view buys, but before that the two fighters will go head-to-head at a press conference in LA on March 11.
With the fighters starting their preparations, it is an exciting time for the boxing world as the two pound-for-pound kings will finally settle their rivalry in the ring.
Pacquiao produced a convincing display in his last outing against Chris Algieri as he continued to bounce back after that sensational loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.
Meanwhile, Mayweather answered all the questions asked of him in his rematch with Marcos Maidana last September, and although many have criticised this fight for happening too late, both Mayweather and Pacquiao are certainly still in top form heading into May.
