Robert Guerrero’s father brandishes the American boxer a woman beater, based on his previous criminal convictions.
The pre-fight media talk stepped up a level this week after Robert Guerrero’s father called Floyd Mayweather a woman beater at a recent press conference.
Ahead of the upcoming fight, Mayweather’s conviction for assault became fuel for an attack by his opponent’s father, which Mayweather himself responded by not addressing the matter head on.
“I’m a lot older. I’m a lot wiser. If I did or didn’t do a crime, I suffered the time. And it’s about being classy. I was wild when I was young, but I’m a lot older, a lot wiser.”
The 36-year old served a 90 day sentence last Summer after being convicted of battery over a former girlfriend
The fight will take place on Saturday evening, with Mayweather putting his unbeaten professional record on the line.
