Pacquiao held his own special fan rally at the Mandalay Bay after it was decided between him and his promotional team to skip the MGM entrance as it was deemed too much of a scrum.
While his fans turned out in numbers to see him ahead of fight night, he insisted that he was excited about the bout and told them to relax and enjoy the build-up.
Meanwhile, Mayweather was greeted by thousands of his fans at the MGM as he described them as all being part of the ‘The Money Team’ and thanked them for their continued support.
The pair will see each other on Wednesday for the final press conference before going head-to-head at the weigh-in on Friday, and all that will be left from that point is for the two pound-for-pound kings of the sport to finally settle their rivalry.
With negotiations initially starting back in 2010, the criticism up to this point has been that the fight is happening too late. However, judging by the magnitude of the event, the revenue that it is generating and the fact that both fighters are adamant that they still have enough left in the tank, it promises to be a memorable spectacle.
The bookmakers continue to heavily favour the unbeaten Mayweather, although opinion remains split within the boxing industry as to who will prevail between the two welterweight superstars.
What is certain is that both men are in Las Vegas and ready for fight night and the excitement is certainly building ahead of what is set to be the biggest night in boxing history.
