Stamford Bridge legend furious after being taken off for Galatasaray when a goal was required.
Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba was furious upon being substituted against Karabukspor in the Turkish Super League and made his feelings perfectly plain to all those watching in the stadium and on television.
With the Istanbul giants drawing 0-0 and looking to score the single goal that would bring them victory, Drogba was stunned to be taken off for midfielder Ceyhun Gulselam, who has not scored all season.
The match finished goalless, with former Chelsea striker Drogba angrily kicking water bottles in his rage.
Drogba was voted the Blues’ greatest ever player in a fan poll for the club’s in house magazine two years ago, and famously helped them claim the 2012 UEFA Champions League, with his final kick for the club being the match winning penalty.
