Dockers’ big man out for the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury.
The Fremantle Dockers will have to lean on inexperienced stars in itss forward line after news Kepler Bradley will not play again this season.
Bradley was taken from field in his side’s thrilling one-point win against Richmond, after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The Dockers are now thin on the ground as far as tall taregts across half-forward with Bradley joining Matthew Pavlich and Aaron Sandilands both out injured.
Fremantle coach Ross Lyon said he felt for Bradley, but said his depature for this season opens the door for up-and-coming ruck stars to get plenty of valuable experience in the top grade.
“It’s really sad for any player, but when it’s one of your own it makes it worse,” Lyon said.
“We’ll support Kepler and rehabilitate him.
“But, you know, one door shuts another one opens.
“Tanner Smith and Jack Hannath will continue. So we’ll find a way. That’s what we’re paid to do.”
