Welterweight champion talks the talk ahead of UFC 167 main event.
Georges St-Pierre said an ideal fight for him this weekend in the main event of UFC 167, would be a first round knockout of number one contender Johny Hendricks.
While most fans and pundits have questioned the champion about Hendricks’ power, especially in his left-hand, in the lead-up to the fight, the man known as GSP backed himself to also end the fight early, despite many of his title wins comes via decision.
Rumors have been swirling that this weekend could be St-Pierre’s last fight in the UFC no matter what the result is as he contemplates a possible early retirement.
And while the champion did say it was going to happen, he did not pour cold water in the suggestions it could happen, insinuating that he himself does not know when he will walk away from active competition.
Johny Hendricks said GSP was shaking at their UFC 167 weigh-in.
