34 point game from Thompson helps Warriors even series with San Antonio.
Warriors coach Mark Jackson could not express enough praise for shooting guard Klay Thompson, after the 23-year old produced an incredible game both offensively and defensively to help the Warriors defeat the San Antonio Spurs 100-91 in game two of their playoff series.
With 34 points and 14 rebounds, Thompson’s double-double will go down as one of the best post-season performances from a Warriors player in recent history.
Golden State have already eliminated the heavily favoured Denver Nuggets in this playoff run, and if they were able to knock off the number two seed in San Antonio, then their championship credentials will take a significant rise.
