Australia have posted an imposing total of 328 for India to chase in the World Cup semi-final at the SCG.

The co-hosts innings didn’t get off to the brightest of starts after star opener David Warner was dismissed for just 12.
It was left up to Steve Smith and Aaron Finch to steady to ship, and it was the vice-captain who pressed on, notching up a century at his home ground.
Smith looked certain to push on and make a massive score, but a wayward shot saw him caught in the deep.
The big-hitting Glenn Maxwell then came to the crease and the Victorian begun in typical fashion, smashing a massive 102 metre six to get the Sydney crowd off its feet.
Maxwell wasn’t able to push on with his big score and was caught on 18, his partner Aaron Finch shortly followed after a solid knock of 81.
Australian skipper Michael Clarke needed to settle things down, but the 33-year-old was sent back to the pavilion for just 10.
James Faulkner didn’t fare much better and was cleaned bowled by the impressive Umesh Yadav.
Australia then managed to push on past a 300+ score, and they had Virat Kohli to thank in part after he dropped an absolute sitter.
The Aussies eventually reached a solid total of 328 after its 50 overs.
