‘He’s one of our own’ was the familiar chant from the away fans as the players left the field at half time of a North London derby in which Harry Kane has given Tottenham Hotspur the lead against Arsenal.
Danny Rose floated a clever ball in behind the Arsenal defence, and Laurent Koscielny’s unwise decision to step up and attempt to play offside allowed Kane through, and he finished past Petr Cech.

Kane, who spent one season with the Arsenal academy as a youngster before making himself a hero at Spurs, scored twice in March’s match between the two rivals to secure Tottenham a 2-1 home win.
And now the 22-year-old striker has marked his first appearance at the Emirates Stadium with another goal in the famous fixture, although Koscielny made it easy for him than it should have been.
After only managing one goal in his first 12 club appearances of the season, the England international now has six in four games, and none will be more popular with the supporters who chant his name.
