Tigers manager pays tribute to Northern Irishman.
Hull City boss Steve Bruce paid tribute to Arsenal legend Pat Rice in his post match press conference Wednesday.
Arsenal confirmed last week that Rice, who retired as Arsene Wenger’s assistant at the end of the 2011/12 season, had been admitted to hospital for treatment for cancer.
“We can sadly confirm Pat Rice is in hospital receiving treatment for cancer,” said an Arsenal statement.
“Everyone at Arsenal Football Club sends him our best wishes. Our thoughts are with Pat and his family.”
And in a heartfelt message, Bruce said it was ‘dreadful’ to hear of the news and wished Rice a full recovery from everyone at Hull City.
