Fight night in Indiana as Lee and Hibbert cross paths.
During the Indiana Pacers’ 108-97 win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, a minor skirmish quickly turned into a two-team brawl.
David Lee and Roy Hibbert kicked things off, evidently taking exception to each other’s off-the-ball marking and engaged in some pushing and shoving mid-way through the fourth quarter.
That was the start of things to come as both teams came together in a brawl which spilled over into the crowd with several players picking up fouls as a result of the melee.
Lee, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, David West and Hibbert all received technical fouls, but that didn’t stop the Pacers from sealing the win.
Tuesday’s result extends the Pacers winning streak to five games as they move to 36-21 in second place in the Eastern Conference.
However, Coach Frank Vogel will probably want to see a little less of this from his team in future, instead focusing on their basketball.
