Clippers close out a 93-80 win over the Knicks in LA on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Clippers saw off a spirited New York Knicks effort on Sunday night, as they sealed a 93-80 win at the Staples Center.
The Knicks have been hit by injury problems over the last fortnight, after Amar’e Stoudemire was ruled out for the remainder of the regular season.
In addition, both Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony were missing on Sunday as both men struggle with knee injuries.
It was left to their team-mates to try and stop the Clippers, a task they couldn’t successfully carry out as they slipped to another defeat.
The Clippers were led by Chris Paul, who had 20 points and 8 assists while four others ended the game in double scoring figures.
For the Knicks, they will want to move on from this latest loss and hope to have their key stars return over the forthcoming weeks.
