Internazionale beat Parma in Serie A by a single goal, with the winning strike coming from Tommaso Rocchi.
Inter Milan took on Parma in Serie A still bidding to recover form to make a late burst for Europe, having suffered some poor results recently.
Three points in this match did not come easily, and an increasingly impatient stadium had to wait until the 82nd minute for the winning goal.
Tommaso Rocchi fired in from Jonathan’s pass, and Internazionale were able to hold out until the end of the match despite late pressure from Parma.
In some ways though, Inter were lucky.
They had just two shots on target, scoring with one, and it was a stark comparison to the visitors’ five with a further strike hitting the woodwork.
It was no surprise that Nerrazzuri goalkeeper Samir Handanovic ended the game as the standout performer.
