The goal received significant praise at the time for the majestic way in which Arsene Wenger’s men opened up their opponents, with Wilshere combining brilliantly with Olivier Giroud.
The pair exchanged passes on the edge of the box before the England international found the corner of the net after knocking the ball past John Ruddy.
Wilshere received three quarters of the total votes according to Arsenal.com, which gave him just enough of an edge over Tomas Rosicky’s impressive chip against Sunderland which came second in voting.
