Former Oakland Raiders QB begins long process of adjusting his throwing skills ready for pro day
The process continues for Jamarcus Russell as he makes more progress in his attempts to find his way back onto an NFL team.
While there is still work to be done for the former number one overall pick, it is clear that he is making strides to get better.
Coach Jeff Garcia highlights some of the things he needs to help improve Jamarcus with, whilst also indicating that Russell still has the natural ability that comes with being an NFL Quarterback – something that plenty of teams will be on the lookout out.
While he will not start immediately, any teams that are looking for a decent backup who can learn the playbook and look to push the current starter for reps in practice will certainly be interested in the 27 year old.
Everyone deserves a second chance in the NFL, and seeing the effort he is putting into getting that opportunity, it seems fair to say that Russell is fully deserving of one.
